Honda should launch its re-designed and re-engineered crossover, 2019 HONDA BR-V. The already influential and favorite model will be getting a massive upgrade both in looks and performance, but unfortunately, there is no report of Honda launching this amazing vehicle in the United States. The 2019 Honda BR-V will pose as a tough competitor against the likes of Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, and Marui Suzuki S-Cross.
2019 Honda BR-V – Design Changes
The 2019 Honda BR-V will revamp interior and exterior both. Speaking of external modifications, the signature grill of BR-V will get a larger version and new LED headlamps for a bulky and as well as sporty look. New fog-light housings will add to the new look too. The black bumpers on all the sides are expected to be similar to the current version, and the solid Roof Rail also needs no change, whatsoever. The extra-large tailgate will not be getting any replacements too.
Looking from the inside, the car will stay put with its current 5 to 7 seating options. The 7 seating option is very much controversial for a compact SUV but it meets the need greatly when needed. The seats will get an all-new leather upgrade, projecting a more luxurious and high-defined look. Rumors are there to be provided with multiple shades of leather accessories.
The New 2019 Honda BR-V will be showing off a lot of features like leather seats, Piano Black finish Dashboard, re-engineered Air-Conditioning System, and an all-new 7-inch infotainment system with capacitive touch screen and many more.
2019 Honda BR-V – Engine Specs
The 2019 BR-V to score as the perfect compact crossover can be featuring a much-awaited V6 turbocharged engine. The vehicle currently runs on a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder 118 horsepower engine which provides 107 pound-feet of torque effortlessly. Being a great engine till now, Honda might keep both the petrol and diesel versions of this model. The diesel version is providing a better torque and higher efficiency. It is rumored that Honda might launch a 1.0-liter turbocharged edition. This mill has an impressive horsepower of 110 BHP and 130 pound-feet of torque. This can be a great alternative to the older 1.5-liter sibling. Talking about transmission, the petrol version will be featuring a 6-speed manual transmission and front wheel drive. The AWD, as well as an automatic transmission, could be available with higher trim models.
The safety features include Dual airbags for driver and front passenger, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Engine Immobilizer, Front and Rear Disc brakes with 4-piston caliper and giant 195/60 R16 wheels for outstanding grip.
Release Date and Price
Honda should come with the price tag of $16,000 for this crawler. The new crossover will be available throughout Asia from mid-2019. It will be perfect for both the track and off-road world and has been revamped to make it more eligible for the Mother Nature. This vehicle has high expectations and will be sure to make a significant stir in the current automobile industry.
