This little car from Honda had hard times making a stable market in the current automobile industry, so Honda after a long wait has decided to introduce the new cool 2019 version of Brio. Since its conscience in 2011 it faced tough competitors, but now Honda is ready to turn the tables. The new 2019 Honda Brio has made its mark massively in all the current Auto Expos all around the world and is highly expected to get a stronger foothold in the B-segment vehicles against the likes of Tata Tiago, Hyundai Grand i10, and Ford Figo.
2019 Honda Brio – Design
The exterior gets the majority of change, with a new sharp grille, and LED headlights and new fog lamp housing. The whole body gets an ergonomic facelift, with new aerodynamic features which looks much better and functional than the former design. The new 2019 Honda Brio gets larger wheels for better traction control and safe maneuvers. At the rear end, there is the all-new spoiler and led lightings for a much smarter look.
The inside gets the most upgrades, with a completely new black or beige upholstery, a redesigned dashboard, and a 2-DIN entertainment system, larger boot-space and enhanced ventilation which is very important for a small car, and many more.
The new 2019 Honda Brio is coming with a handful of elegant features such as, premium Carbon Finish dashboard, the meter console gets a led touch with gear-shift indicator, for additional comfort the front and rear doors feature nice armrests, the Air Conditioning system also features a heater for comfortable all-weather driving, multi-media system with Bluetooth and USB support.
The safety features include, engine immobilizer, central locking, Anti-lock Braking System with Brake assist, front 4-piston disc brakes, power steering and collapsible steering shaft to reduce head injuries during collisions, the 2019 Honda Brio also features dual front airbags for driver and front passenger.
2019 Honda Brio – Engine Options
The engine options almost stay the same with a 1.2 liter 4-cylinder in-line generating a horsepower of 85 BHP and 90 pound-feet of torque. There are solid reports on a brand new 1.3-liter VTEC variant too which would kick 10 more horses. Both of these are petrol variants. Coming to talk about Diesel variant, the hood features a 1.5-liter i-DTEC motor. The petrol one gets a 5-speed manual transmission and the diesel one sports another extra gear to bring out the maximum output. It is expected that Honda will provide the customers with an AMT variant too, which is a must in today’s market of automatic gear-shift.
Talking about mileage the petrol variant provides an average of 45 miles per gallon and diesel one scores a bit higher in this sheet with 65 miles per gallon.
Price and Release Date
The 2019 Honda Brio is just making a mark in the Auto Expos and will be arriving soon in the showrooms for sale from fall-2018. The expected starting price is $15,000. It is a new generation city car with all the coolest feature that money can buy under this price-tag.
